Stuck Inside?

Hello from the couch, hammock or deckchair...

We trust you’re all getting fully dressed for work by now, right? After all, we’re a couple of weeks into our new lives as safety hermits, and the novelty of staying in your PJs all day has almost certainly worn off. (No judgement tho.)

We hope everyone is okay out there. We’ve decided to focus our energy on how we can still be creative - and help our clients continue to be productive as well - while the whole world is glued to their screens.

There’s no doubt businesses of every size are finding it tough, but great content cuts through even during an “unprecedented global crisis” - so here are 3 ways to maintain your content marketing mojo in lockdown…

1.
Show your audience that you’re open for business

That’s what we’re doing right now (hello)!

So, it might not be business as usual, but whatever your Apocalypse Pivot may be, tell your audience, so they know how they can continue to work with you. Chances are, their way of living, doing business and communicating has changed as well, so they’re probably as keen as you are to engage in new ways.

It’s a strange time and sometimes it’s difficult to know exactly where to strike the balance tone-wise - we generally opt for humour - but as long as you’re being a force for good, you can’t really go wrong.

Motion graphics come into their own at a time like this - a super flexible solution no matter your budget,  they can be designed to align with any brand and any tone, and clever scripting will be sure to grab your audience's attention. The possibilities are endless. In fact, here’s one we prepared earlier…

2.
Nothin’ but time… for that project you keep putting off

Let’s face it. Everyone’s dog is doing this right now.

Let’s face it. Everyone’s dog is doing this right now.

Okay, for parents trying to homeschool and work from home, this isn’t exactly the case. However, with the scope of what we can do day-to-day drastically reduced, there’s more time for things that we find ourselves habitually pushing onto the back burner. And let’s face it, the best creative solutions come from creative constraints.

You know that e-book, or online course you’ve been meaning to write, design, or shoot? Now’s the time. You can build whole marketing campaigns around these high value assets plus, they have the benefit of a long shelf life - that means, if the timing isn’t quite right to publish now, you can sit on it and have it ready to launch when things get back to normal (whatever that will be!)

If you need help turning your bullet point list into a script or a beautiful document, or some pointers on getting the best out of your at-home vlog setup, we’re only an email away.

That’s one of the beautiful outcomes of this strange time... a greater sense of oneness and generosity of spirit.

3.
Goodbye public gatherings, hello webinars!

With events and shoots cancelled for the foreseeable future, many businesses are linking up guest speakers and audiences remotely. Yes, we’re a little bit more challenged in Australia as the NBN chugs along at an infuriating and unreliable pace, but it could be as simple as going live on instagram with a co-worker (remotely obvs.), or for more in-depth comms, switching out slides in your webinar for motion graphics.

Let’s face it, we’re all a little bit easier to pin down these days, so organising gun contributors requires a lot less lead time than it used to. And chances are, keynote speakers will jump at the chance to continue to collab. That’s one of the beautiful outcomes of this strange time we’re all living through, a greater sense of oneness and generosity of spirit.

That means us too! We’d love to collaborate with you, and we’re only an email, phone call or insta-message away. Our Zoom game is also quite strong, (business up top, trackies on the bottom.)

Pic unrelated. We just like it. Hey, at least we didn’t try and work it into the copy by saying ‘Stuck on ideas for a webinar? Call us!’ That would be shameless.
