CASE STUDY
Comprehensive Content Production and Integration for NBCUniversal Channels.
As the partner production company for NBCUniversal, Hello played a pivotal role in producing all of E! Australia's content for many years, as well as additional content for their SyFy and Diva channels.
Our collaboration extended to consulting on the design and installation of their shiny floor studio within the NBCU offices, ensuring top-notch production facilities with a streamlined pipeline to post-production.
End-to-End Production
Hello was responsible for the end-to-end production of the bi-weekly entertainment show The Hype for the E! channel.
Hosted by Ksenija Lukich, the show covered a wide range of topics including the latest in movies, television, and fashion news, red carpet events, face-to-face celebrity interviews, and exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses of blockbuster movies.
From concept to delivery, we managed every aspect of the show, including:
Look and Feel: Crafting the visual identity and aesthetic of the show.
Visual Identity: Designing a dynamic graphics package that was easily utilised by the post-production crew.
Scripting: Creating engaging and informative scripts.
Production and Post-Production: Seamlessly handling filming and editing processes.
As E! Australia’s flagship show, the production team of The Hype worked closely with NBCU's creative, production, and partnerships departments to ensure a seamless integration.
Versatile Coverage
As The Hype was essentially an entertainment variety show, Hello continuously developed new segments and interstitials, showcasing their creative versatility and agility.
Red Carpets Moment: We covered countless red carpet events from Sydney to LA, engaging with celebrities about their latest projects.
Events Coverage: From Fashion Week to the Rip Curl Pro, we captured a variety of high-profile events, including interviews the best of the best in a multitude of fields.
Face-to-Face Interviews: Off the red carpet, we produced in-depth interviews with celebrities, providing viewers with a personal look at their favorite stars.
Lifestyle Programming: Our coverage extended to health, wellbeing, and lifestyle segments, featuring the latest fitness trends and celebrity road trips.
Digital and Out-of-Home Packages
The Hype and E! Australia had a strong digital presence with content running on E!'s website and social media platforms.
Additionally, we created out-of-home packages that were displayed in shopping centers, ensuring broad audience engagement.
Award Winning Integrated Content and Brand Collaborations
Hello worked alongside NBCUniversal's sales and partnership teams to deliver sponsored content for brands such as Drew Barrymore’s Flower Beauty, L'Oreal, Revlon, PrettyLittleThing, Mumm, Chemist Warehouse, and Bob Jane T-Marts.
We also produced cross-promotional packages for Universal Pictures releases, enhancing the visibility and reach of their movies.
Our efforts were recognized with an award for Mumbrella ‘Best Branded Sponsorship or Product Integration Award’ for PrettyLittleThing at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Designing E! Australia
We refreshed The Hype and E! Australia's interstitial content packages multiple times over the course its run, creating production templates that enabled the in-house production team to produce video stories in an agile and efficient manner.
Additionally, we developed a cloud workflow system that allowed any production member to access assets from anywhere in the world, on any device, ensuring flexibility and efficiency.
Hooked on a Look
Working with the partnerships team, Hello produced Hooked On a Look, an engaging digital series for NBCUniversal.
In each episode, a celebrity superfan was transformed to resemble their favorite star, using everyday makeup products that viewers could easily access and use at home. From concept to delivery, we managed all aspects of the production.
Hooked On a Look successfully blended entertainment and education, providing viewers with practical makeup tips while indulging their love for celebrity culture.
