Working with Merivale has provided us numerous opportunities to showcase our versatility in video production.

Over the past five years, we've collaborated with various departments within Merivale, delivering a wide range of video content tailored to diverse needs and audiences.

Brand Collaboration

Much of our partnership with Merivale involves crafting engaging brand collaboration content. Working closely with their Partnerships team, we created compelling video campaigns for renowned brands such as Veuve Clicquot, Olmeca Altos, Kahlúa, Absolut, BMW, Furphy, and Vic's Meats.

This included creating shorter clips, teaser videos, and behind-the-scenes content, tailored for various marketing channels such as social media, email campaigns, and website promos.

By repurposing content from a single project, Merivale was able to maintain a consistent brand message across multiple platforms, maximizing their reach and engagement with their audience.

One highlight was the production of the "Field Notes" series, integrating BMW's brand seamlessly. The series featured three of Merivale's executive chefs traveling through NSW in search of the finest produce, beautifully capturing the intersection of culinary excellence and high-end automotive craftsmanship.

Event Coverage

If there’s one thing that Merivale is known for, it’s putting on a show. Merivale's Events team has entrusted us to capture the energy and excitement of their various events.

TWe’ve captured club nights and special events with high-profile acts such as Carl Cox, What So Not, Sneaky Sound System and Flight Facilities.

Our goal is always to encapsulate the electric atmosphere of these events, providing Merivale with dynamic and engaging content to promote future events, with a suite of assets for all marketing channels.

Venue Launch Teasers

Launching a new venue is always a special moment for Merivale, and we've been there to celebrate these milestones. These videos generate buzz and excitement prior to the venue’s opening.

By leveraging high-quality visuals, engaging narratives, and strategic filming techniques, we create impactful videos that resonate with potential customers and industry influencers alike.

For each launch, we've also provided a suite of marketing assets tailored for various channels. This multi-channel strategy has helped Merivale maximize their marketing efforts and ensure each new venue garners the attention it deserves.

HR & Recruitment

Understanding the importance of attracting top talent, we collaborated with Merivale's HR team to create a series of recruitment videos.

These videos offered a glimpse into life at Merivale's bars and kitchens, highlighting the experience of learning and working alongside industry leaders like Peter Doyle and Mr Wong’s Dan Hong.

Additionally, we produced Staff Member of the Month videos, celebrating the dedication and hard work of Merivale's employees.

Merivale Academy

A significant project was the development of video content for Merivale Academy, their in-house training platform.

Partnering with the Learning and Development team, we’ve produced over 70 lessons so far covering various disciplines. These included venue identity videos, training modules for bar and wait staff, and primer videos for management.

Shooting much of this series presented unique challenges, including coaching Merivale staff and management to present the lessons themselves as on-screen talent.

A different challenge: Merivale venues operate around the clock. By employing discrete filming techniques and careful planning, we ensured the production process was seamless and unobtrusive, allowing Merivale to maintain their impeccable guest experience while developing valuable training content.

The extensive footage also serves as a valuable resource library for Merivale's internal use, accessible across all departments.

COVID-19 Adaptation

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our collaboration took a new direction. We produced instructional videos for the Merivale At Home meal delivery service, ensuring customers could enjoy restaurant-quality meals safely at home.

Part of this pivot including teaching their locked-down executive chef staff how to video themselves!

This adaptation showcased our ability to pivot and meet new challenges head-on while continuing to deliver high-quality content.
